I've purchased three vehicles from Stohlman Subaru, and have used them for service on all three. I've always had good experiences with both the purchases and the service.

The Subaru Impreza was recommended to us. The car is everything our friend said. I took the car for it's first checkup , oil change, etc.. It was an experience I had hoped it to be and it was. From the time I walked in and walked out, I was highly impressed. The staff did everything possible for me to feel welcome and comfortable. This should be the beginning of a long friendship. I had a great experience buying my first car at Stohlman Automotive! I went with Stohlman because a friend recommended them for their service department, the good (and recent) reviews on DealerRater, and I was also drawn by their "pressure-free" assurance online. The buying process was easy and straight-forward: they asked some of the typical questions like "what's your target monthly payment" and whether I wanted a maintenance package but kept it honest when I said I wanted to focus on OTD and wasn't interested in any special add-ons. Our sales rep, Priscilla, was straightforward and professional, and took the time to explain certain features of the car to me and check-in on whether I had more questions before I drove the car off the lot. I was in at 2pm and out by 430pm. Financing was easy too, as they honored Subaru's special interest rates for March 2024. When reviewing the contract, they made sure I understood all parts of it and did not try to rush. After the purchase, I received emails from an "Encore Specialist" who followed up if I had any questions about servicing, parts, or technology. They were super helpful when I had a concern about the OEM hitch and worked to address my concerns. Everyone else I worked with was professional and assertive but not pushy. The friend (with more car buying experience) I brought along as moral support commented that it was the best car buying process she had ever been through. I've been recommending Stohlman to my friends who are car shopping for Subarus or VWs in the DMV.

Great experience purchasing my first Subaru! It was an easy, pressure-free experience. Following the purchase, I heard from a technology specialist to check in and answer questions about features. After that follow-up, I received a $25 gift card for gas. I also heard from my sales person and the finance manager to check in. I have purchased from three other brands in Northern Virginia across 5 other dealerships and this was by far the best sales experience I've had over the years. And even better, the car is fantastic! Thank you for an honest buying experience.

This employee is exceedingly rude and lacks any basic social skills necessary to perform the job of a manager. I have dealt with him several times, and while I love every other thing about this location, I will be taking my car elsewhere for service in the future strictly due to this employees conduct. I have dealt with him multiple times and he talks down to customers, is unaccommodating, and seems to have zero concept of customer service. If this is how he treats all customers, I hope this location works with him to learn proper business conduct.

Excellent service; when it was found that extra work was needed, the situation was notified in a timely manner and effectively communicated; work was done efficiently and in a timely fashion; no/no after-action glitches found and no post-service adjustments have been needed. One very minor flaw in the process: the dealer's billing software still needs a bit of fine tuning. (That issue resolved expeditiously)
